Clarky93 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Hey, I just brought a l20et and the sump hits in my 280zx so I thought if I have to change the sump I might as well go rb20 and make more power, I been doing some research I've seen you don't have to change the engine mounts or change the tail shaft is that true? For the gear box you need the auto gearbox mount is that right?, what does every one do for the throttle cable?, if any one has done this before could you give me Some more info as I'm really keen to give it a try!! zzzzed Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 The engine mounts need modifying. I am running a custom throttle cable. I haven't heard about the auto gear box mount. Why not go rb25det? I have an rb20. But only because I got the bolt in package at a good price. If I was to do it from scratch. I would have started with the rb25 Quote
