Hi All,
For sale is the engine package that came in my somewhat recently acquired 240z. Some of you may be familiar with the car and/or it's old owner. The engine is not in running condition, I have never seen it run, nor have I investigated the damage myself. Much of this information has been taken from the vehicles sale thread. The engine has been sitting for 10+ years. I bore scoped it upon removal and found no signs of corrosion in the the bores. It has been sitting with the manifolds detached for a few months now, so I will re-inspect when prompted by prospective buyers, and attempt to provide evidence (assuming I can take a good photo of the bore scope screen)
All items located Belconnen Region, Canberra, ACT.

UPDATE: I've made some discoveries today. Looks like there was a build up of corrosion material/debris? in the cooling system, but I could not see any damage in the block or water pump. I have included pictures of this (including a picture of the bore scope aimed at the water pump impeller. I also found a small amount of rust in 2 of the cylinders that sat with a valve open in each. This has likely happened due to me removing the manifolds and as such appears recent, so I suspect it has not pitted the bores yet. And what appears to be a very small amount of oil in one of the cylinders. I was also able to turn the engine over by hand just by the balancer (no tools). On the upside to all this, the intake ports appear to have been touched up. I could see no evidence of such work on the exhaust ports.
