Thanks for your help guys. Looks like it is l20 turbo and manifold, l24 na inlet manifold and ecu bolted to an L28t.

Thanks for the info. Is there any markings or numbers on the manifolds that will help me identify what it is. I gather if it is the l20 bolt on gear it will effect the value a bit? The guy who is after it mainly wanted the turbo gear.

I'm not really onto speed with computers and uploading photos. But it as an f54 block with a p90a head. The engine number starts with L28 so I assume it is a L28.

Yeah apparently 11 sec 1/4s. No proof. I say it it got driven hard but not for long. All the other mods (brake upgrade, wheels and tyres) look brand new. I assume it has the correct bolt ons. How do I tell. The ecu does say r30 skyline on wrecker writing.

Doin have just swapped my L28t for a na L28 with twin carbies. I have someone who is interested in my turbo motor but I have no idea what it's worth. It has been rebuilt (not sure how long ago) it has definitely has an aftermarket cam. It comes with standard loom, ecu, inlet manifold, turbo and exhaust manifold. It does have an intercooler and piping ( piping has not been professionally done by the looks of it. I have no history on the motor except the guy I bought the car off said it did a 11 second quarter mile with NOS. So not knowing anything else what would guys recommend for a fair price for both seller and buyer. Thanks.

Hey. I just pulled an auto box ith a slip tailshaft out of mine. I have a flange 5 speed to go in it so I need a tailshaft. I am happy to swap tailshaft a with you. I am in vic also.

I am in need of a flange type tail shaft. I have purchased a gearbox not knowing there were diferent tail shafts. I am willing to buy a tail shaft if anyone has one or swap my tailshaft for the one I need. Or I am happy to swap my box for one without a flange that will work with my tailshaft. Thanks Mick.

Thanks. Would it be easier to find a shaft box or flange tail shaft. I am quite happy to swap the box for what I need or buy a tail shaft yo suit or just buy a box with a shaft. So if any one has something that might suit hit me up. Thanks again.

For starters happy new year everyone Now I have started to work on my auto to manual conversion and I have realised my manual box has a flange that bolts to the tail shaft. My question is do I now find another tail shaft to suit or find another gearbox to suit my tail shaft or can I modify my shaft. When I bought it I didn't realise there were 2 different ones.

Hey thanks for the info. I am jus missing a few parts. I bought the car like it. I need door trims now and a plastic quarter trim and carpet and I have hopefully sorted seats.

Hi all. Just wondering if there is a difference between parts between 1973 240z and 1975 260z 2 seater. I need some interior parts such as plastic trims around the quarter windows. I have found some parts from a 1973 240 and want to know if they will fit before I get them posted. Also will a front lip off a 240 fit my 260. Thanks Mick.

Thanks Gareth. Did you convert yours to NA? I was hoping I would be able to use the car while I source and build an L26 or L28 NA.(probably will be 2 years process for me). I know it wont go as good as it could but I think I will be happy with it.

so now that I have these I have been doing a bit of research and need some advise. To get my 260 to run well will I be able to modify my head or do I need to get a NA head to replace it or leave it as is. As I have said it has a f54 turbo block so I would assume it has dished pistons. Thanks

ThAnd Chris 240. I don't know too much about the mechanical side of how things work. Do You guys think my compression will be to low for na. It's got a f54 block and p90A head. All cylinders were around 150psi.

So I bought them. I have talked to the guy and they have had a kit put through them which is good. Linton I am not sure what I am going to do with my current setup. I might keep it for a rainy day. Thanks for your help everyone.

It's got a factor ecu I assume. It does say skyline on it. I think 1980. One injector is leaking also. What's a ball park figure I could get for the efi and turbo setup.

I haven't bought them yet. Planning on it. They are not to far away from me.

Maybe triples in the future. Just want to get it going for now so I can drive it. I haven't driven it with the turbo set up so at least I wont know what I am missing.

haha. I was waiting for that. When I was looking for a car I was after a NA Carbie but this one came up and was too good to pass on. I already have another toy car that's injected (was turbo until recently). My brother has a little corolla panelvan with a worked carbie motor and I think sounds awesome and goes well. Carbies just suit what I am trying to achieve with this car. Thanks for your help. Looks like I will have an efi set up for sale soon. Hopefully.

Hi. This may be a dumb question. I have an injected l28 turbo in my 260. Also my l28 compression is around 150psi each cylinder. Will this be any good for NA. Thanks Mick
