    I'm planning on using it almost everyday for short trips (to work) and the occasional weekend away. As for car shows, it really depends on how nice a car 10k can get me. I'm more concerned about getting the mechanical side of things finely tuned before I work on the cosmetics. So whats the deal with the club rego and insurance? Is it more or less expensive?

    Hi everyone, I'm considering buying my first z and would love some advice. My budget is around 10k and would just like something that runs well and is clean (minimal rust). I've considered 2 options: A) just try and find a good deal under 10000 and make upgrades later on B) Buy a rolling shell and use the remaining cash on a nice engine, gearbox etc. (How much would it cost to drop an rb25det + gear box in it?) I would love to hear anyones thoughts on this. Cheers!
