  1. SOLD I acquired this tidy example of a 1973 Datsun 240z in its current condition with the best intentions to have the car ready for the 50th year anniversary of the Z car. Unfortunately due to a change in employment conditions I cannot see the project progressing for the foreseeable future and have decided to pass her on. The chassis is solid with rust treatment to be complete around the taillights, hatch, rear quarter panels, bonnet, minor floor pan, roof ect. On the upside, the roof/ hatch hinge areas are in great condition, the car comes with new front fenders and door skins and a spare roof. All parts available will be sold with the chassis, these are boxed or wrapped up for transport. The car comes complete to the best of my knowledge minus engine, gearbox & steering wheel. It was last registered in NSW, they must be over east in a shed somewhere.... But an L28 or RB engine conversion is a very popular. Inspections are welcome to assess the whole package on offer, it is a non rolling shell but maybe spending a day to bolt the front and rear suspension back in will ease transportation. The 240z was last registered in NSW..... the chassis is now in WA, so it is somewhere on the 'mainland'. Thanks, have a great day.

  7. Hi all, it was great to meet up with some fantastic and classically restored Z's at the annual Z day last year in Perth. Unfortunately my 260z will not be in a reasonable enough condition to serve me as a wedding car on the day due to all my money going towards the wedding itself this year! So I would like to ask if any fellow members with either a 240z or 260z (2&4 seater) would be kind enough to express an interest in providing their car and themselves on Sunday 1st September? The Z's will only have to pick up the groomsmen from my place in Aveley and take us 10 mins down the road to Brookleigh in the Swan Valley. I would be more than happy to cover any expense, fuel money ect. Anyone who is interested please email me at reyneketteridge@hotmail.com or give me a call on 045800404-FIVE As a bonus I could get some really nice prints made up of the Z wedding convoy and send them to you as my way of saying thanks.
