  1. I've also got a turbo exhaust manifold if the above falls through.
  2. Thanks for getting in touch mate but wildy55 just grabbed them before you. This thread can be closed if that's how the forum works. Cheers
  3. These are still available, $75?
  4. I have two Nissan Electronic Distributors for sale. One of which has a reco vacuum advance diaphragm which was only driven on for a few weeks. Not sure which ignition modules do and do not work - I don't have a means of testing them. Also comes with an OEM loom plug. Price is $150 for the lot - I think one of them owes me more than that on its own. Heath (0421 770 110)
  5. I consider poor nick to be dinted & bent around for clearance on things haha. Clearly they need a lick of paint but I can't see that adding value as everyone has their own colour preference. Open to offers.
  6. Sorry, I did mean to include a price but clearly left it out. Not sure what the going rate for these is. $125 ONO
  7. I've got some 6-2-1 extractors that I don't need. These are in good nick, with flanges that line up well and no backyard adjustments made with the hammer. Just need a wire wheel & coat of paint. Pick-up Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Heath (0421 770 110)
  8. Up for grabs are the plates off of my 260C. Obviously suit a Z well also. VIC Plates white-on-black, one full-size, one slim-line. They owe me $300 and I would prefer to get that back. Not chasing a profit. Cheers, Heath (0421 770 110, hezath@gmail.com)
  9. He had a rebuilt one on the shelf and I received it today, installed it and I can't say I've done any comprehensive tests yet but it definitely doesn't leak like the old one. Thanks again!
  10. Just made contact with Mike, sounds promising. Thanks for the quick & helpful reply!
  11. I have one of the R30/280ZX distributors in my Datsun and the vacuum advance diagram/actuator is no longer working properly. I believe these parts are discontinued but I'd happily be wrong. Anyone have any lying around they don't mind getting rid of? Haven't had much luck at the wreckers around here. Heath 0421 770 110 or hezath@gmail.com Cheers!

    L28 cam cover

If that falls through, I should be able to help you out. hezath@gmail.com
  13. Hi guys, bit of an odd request here. I'm interested in buying or borrowing (with interest obviously) an interim LPG setup for my 260C. It has an L26 with a standard manifold and 2bbl Hitachi carbie on it, with a throttle linkage from the firewall. I'm planning on mounting a complex converter (B2) and getting an LPG installation done very shortly, which I will do some changes to under the bonnet later on, with different manifolding, throttlebodies etc. For the meantime, I need an actual LPG Mixer (GRA, any Impco carbureter etc - rather than a mixer ring/spud-in setup) that has preferably come off a car, so something that will attach to a standard manifold or comes with its own manifold, that I could fit/adapt and putt around with for a couple of months or less. If it's just a dual fuel thing that bolts onto the standard carbie - that's fine, perhaps ideal. Doesn't have to be anything flash, just something that will work okay and clear the bonnet, to give me time to polish out the bugs before going with something a bit more sophisticated in the carburation department. Thought this would be a good place to ask I'm in Melbourne, please contact me (Heath) 0421 770 110 or hezath@gmail.com Cheers guys!
  14. Picked up Anth's N42 L28 today. Got some good bits with it and heaps of help loading it up. Very pleased, can't wait to fiddle around with it a bit and get it in the car. Thanks again mate. Pleasure dealing with you
  15. Not really clued up on distributor differences etc and you may have already got this sorted? but I have a points distributor from my L26 here, I don't remember any faults with it or excessive play etc, free to a good home. 0421 770 110 (Heath) Cheers
  16. If anyone has a twin carbie manifold and linkages with some carbs on it, the carbs can be incomplete or in disrepair, flat or round top etc - don't mind. Would prefer something local and cheap. I'm in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs Please PM here or call 0421 770 110 (Heath)
  17. Yep, mine is the manual 3spd with the electric side window, fold out dickie seat and all that good stuff haha. Just fitted these mirrors the other day too: dat2kman, thanks for asking, I managed to get my hands on a sedan drum to drum diff assembly, still a 4.11:1 but in excellent condition and swapped that in. Came with a sedan swaybar that I endeavor to fit shortly (when I have better access to a hoist so I can fabricate on some brackets to the chassis) and paid a slab for the lot. Getting rid of that diff whine was the best thing I've done to the car! hahaha
  18. Thanks for the response. It currently has the L26 motor, P30 bottom end and E88 head, original to the car as far as I'm aware I'm not sure if I will actually need particularly low compression because I'm only planning on a few pounds of boost with straight LPG and maybe even water injection, but that head swap will definitely be a consideration. I'd like to keep the static CR as high as I can but I need to work out exactly what's going to work first. I've had a PM from a guy mentioning an N42 L28 with some receipts that I will investigate some more. I have seen pzg302's ads but I'd like to exhaust any local possibilities before travelling for parts. Cheers!
  19. haha excuse the lame title but I didn't want it to just say 'new member introduction' Anyway, my name's Heath and I've got an 8-seater 230 series wagon, '73 model. So yeah, no Z, just C. But it's still got an L-series and that's what I'm here for. I'm on OzDat but not many people have sixes on there so I came here to absorb a bit of your expertise and maybe grab some parts that need a new home. Hope to build a motor up for it with a bit of boost and straight gas. Might even be talked into upgrading the three-on-the-tree for a floor shift with an extra gear or two. We'll see haha
  20. I plan on doing a low-boost turbo L28 for my H230 and I want to get the ball rolling by collecting some more bits. I've bought the L28ET exhaust manifold and turbo but that's about it so far. I'm new to the L-series sixes - I think I'm after an F54 motor ideally, whether it has a head or not I don't really mind. I will need a head but it doesn't need to be an EFI top end or anything. Would prefer something in good condition, but I'll consider things that need rebuilds as well. Happy to pay a bit for something with receipts or good history. Don't want to pay much for a dunger Also keen on getting a Z-car inlet manifold with throttle linkages etc. I don't need carbs but they wouldn't hurt for a reference to set up whatever throttlebodies I run. Are L20A/L24/L26 twin carb manifolds all the same or are they different? I know that the carbs vary to some degree. Thanks!
