Hi Roger, It's been a while since we've been in contact. The diff is a a "K" marked one so I suspect from a later model Nissan/Datsun (not Subaru). (Edited to add) I've just remembered - it came from a 720 ute. Cheers Kym

Hello All, I have just joined as I have a clubman (Lotus 7 clone) which uses a R180 diff. As I race and hillclimb it at different circuits I sometimes need different diff ratios so I browse the Datsun forums in search of sometimes elusive ratios and LSDs. I found a diff yesterday that sounded as though it might be what I need so joined up to have a chat with the vendor. This seems to be working well and it is likely that a sale will eventuate. I run a 4.875 diff with Quaife LSD for hillclimbing and supersprinting at Mallala. Last year I competed in regularity at Bathurst using a 4.1 open diff and managed to break a tooth off the pinion on my last lap of the meeting. This year I used a 3.9 open diff. These both worked well. but are a bit too high for the car and being open allow the inside wheel to spin on about four corners and I'm sure it doesn't help with launching out of other corners. When I get a bit more time I'll try and put a pic of the car up and try putting one in the identification block on the LHS of posts. Cheers Kym
