hi, thanks for that, but what i realy need to know is the yellow datsun wire goes to which wire Honda wire and so on as all diagrams on the forums are for 240z which are different. Thank you for your reply,

hi, i have purchased a honda civic wiper motor for my 260z, problem is all wiring diagrams on the forums are for 240z which have 5 wires. My 260 has 6 wires and the honda has 6. Datsun yellow, 3x black (2 Soft ) blue/white, blue red. Can anyone help with a wiring diagram for a 260 as i have already burnt out 1 honda wiper motor. Cheers Peter Ps i am pretty sure the 2 soft black ones are for high and low speed but i dont know where to attach them with the new wiring.

The injectors are new but that doesn't mean that they are working proply, i took out the cold start valve left it hooked up, and filled the hole with another one. Ran car but no fuel came out of the c.a.v. I have new fuel pump, new temp sensor, on the bottom of the throttle body there is a boost controlled deceleration valve but nothing electrical or air is hooked up as i can`t find any info on this device, or if i even need it. the dyno guy said not to use vac advance setup. Cheers

Hi, i have a 260 with a series 1 280zx engine and efi. I am trying to find out if i have the right computer for the series 1 or if there is a couple of options. The numbers i have are 22011 P8800 ALL-000 450 oyo5. had the car dynoed and it runs well except when sitting at lights or at rest somewhere i can smell what i think is unburnt fuel. if i sit at lights and then plant it it blows out black smoke for a while and then stops.Any help would be appreciated. WOOPS: Was playing with the air flow meter on my series 1 l28 efi engine when, you guessed it, i let go of the spring. Anyone know of a way to reset the spring back to a starting point of which i can then advance to a better setting? Any help would be appreciated. ( Things we learn as we play with our cars ) Cheers Peter

Problem solved, replaced two new spark plugs with another two new ones. Realized you cant run a hose from the outlet on the side of the block to the manifold as this bypasses the air flow regulator and is not considered in the mixture of the air fuel. Hi, i have had the motor rebuilt, new injectors ECU checked out, new temp sensor, new fuel regulator and spark getting to all plugs. Not sure if the spark is strong enough due to the points dizzy. Will check other options . cheers peter.

Hi, Does anyone know if you can run a standard points dizzy with the l28 and EFI. car is running at the moment but not very well, runs rough and backfires. Sounds like it is running on 4 cyl`s. When i take the leads off 1 & 5 plugs while motor running it makes no difference. Cheers peter

I also have done this mod but my hand brake lever has to be fully engaged before the park brake applies. Would this mean that the cable is stretched and needs to be replaced, as i have adjusted it a fair bit. Cheers peter
