  1. Ok this will fit both 3 and 4 screw carbs only difference is the gaskets for the insulator blocks. This comes with what looks like 4 screw gaskets.
  2. Hey I've had a few question about weather the kit is for 3 or 4 screw carbs. I have sent z therapy an email to find out if the kit is universal as the kit consists mainly of jets and needles and I think they may fit both. The jets are size 100 and the needles are their SM needles from memory this is what the recommend for all around tuning if most of your driving is below 6000ft sea level. I will update info as I find out.
  3. Complete Tune Up Kit for 2 carbs (Needle & seats, SM, N27, N54, or N58 needles, ZT Nozzles, float gaskets, gas lines, banjo seals,4 insulator gaskets. Just found this in the shed. Unfortunately I don't have a zed anymore. $150. Any question at lukemacrz350@hotmail.com. Thanks Luke.
  4. Hey guys it's back up. Yes had an offer on it but got stuffed around so it's back up with $8k ono need it gone ASAP If anyone wants to contact me 0437239917. I would put an add on here but don't have any internet in the new house yet. Sorry.
  5. Hi guys, I am the owner of the red zed for sale on eBay. As for questions doubting the cars number. I cannot be 100% but who can. I bought this car long before there was interest in them like there is today. I bought it of an old guy for $1500 about 17years ago. So I don't think he would have been interested in faking a body number. I am no expert on zed's by any means. I can tell you it has no toolboxes inside and as fare as I know the rear quarter was never replaced. He never said it was and I never new enough to ask. All rust was removed from the body an replaced with metal. There is still some small areas of rust in the floor pans the passenger side has had a new replacement pan welded in and there is one for the driver side. The rust that was removed was minimal some in the door sills and a few pinholes in the quaters. The minimal rust condition of the car was the reason I bought it. The paint was done about eight years ago and no rust appers to have returned. If anyone wants to know more I'm happy to answer any questions. You can contact me on 0437239917 I don't want and nor am I trying to rip anyone on the sale and I think for the price on it it would still be a good deal even if it wasn't the wright body number. Which I believe it is correct. Thanks Luke
  6. No original block unfortunately. Thanks for the help guys.
  7. Hi guys, recently been laid off and thinking about selling my zed. It hasn't had any work done since this http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,9684.msg95048.html#msg95048 What do you think its worth? Has no engine got most if not all parts other than the engine. New seal kit from the states the expensive one. ?
  8. hey decoy pm'd you
  9. So are the 140mm rods to get a better ratio or higher compression or both, and the pistons for lighter weight and oversize bore? Would this be closer to a 3ltr with say an 89mm bore? Sorry for the questions but Ive been reading heaps of info on all the usual sites on strokers and worked L28's and now I have information overload. So many different ways to go, all with similar specs.
  10. yeah hit post before I thought that I have thought about this too, but figured I could do the bottom end now and build a good top end latter.
  11. So I can still get you to do the machine work and balancing and things that I can't do? Any idea how much it would cost to do the machine work and get the rotating asembley balanced plus bore and hone and anything else? I know it's a bad question as you can just keep spending, just trying to gauge the cost. I'd like to do asembley my self not just to keep costs down but for the fun
  12. yeah Pete but I dont have the 20 grand to buy one from you And I thought you weren't building engines now?
  13. So I'm looking at doing a full rebuild on a L28. Is going the stroker route that much more expensive? I have an l24 with an E88 head in pieces and will be getting a L28 F54/N42 combo from a member on here. If I can get an LD28 crank and KA24 pistons should I just go for the stroked option machine costs would be relativly the same would they not? maybe extra cost in machine work off the pistons to get the deck hight. would like to get 200hp or more at the wheels. I see some of the yanks get this with there L28's but I also think they are a bit optimistic with there dyno's. I need to rebuild an engine either way so what are people's thoughts Luke
