  1. zedman240 it has one hose already connected to the manifold but dont know where the missing hose should goto and i have looked in the manual but no luck
  2. ok looked thru the manual in the A/C section and i have found it. its a F.I.C.D Fast Idle Control Device. does anyone know where the vacuum hose that im missing should connect too??

Hi and thinks for the help with my last problem. i am now wondering what this part is on my Nissan Patrol Mq engine bay with L28 engine (i know its not a 240z or 260z but throught that you guys might know since it has a L28 "very niice" ), i think it is a manifold pressure sensor but could be wrong, as im installing a jaycar programmable ignition timing system. it has 2 electrical connectors and has a vacuum hose that goes to the manifold, also im missing a hose off it too which io circled in yellow in the picture does anybody know where that hose should connected too. i hop ths is a manifold sensor so that i dont have to hunt around at wreckers to find one or find a MAP sensor

  6. Hi guys The last problem that im now facing is when im cranking over the motor. When i turn it over the cranking slows right down for 1 revolution and then give in acouple of minutes and it returns back to how it normally cranks like has anyone got any ideas to what is happening... (im using points & coil)

Thanks for the people that helped with my last problem with my L28 engine not have any spark. i have it all up and running now but im having a fuel problem, it starts and idles well till i give it a nice long rev, then when i try a rev it again its like the fuel is starving and the carbie can't refill quick enough (im using a weber 28/36dcd carbie). could the problem be the standard electric fuel pump has'nt got a high enough flow rate or the fuel pump is about to die?? or could i installing a second standard electic fuel pump to pick up the folw rate more?? also could it be that i have added 2 extra fuel filters on the fuel in line and the return line?? this never ends....

  10. wondering if anybody can help me find the problem with my L28 engine. i fixed the problem that i first had with the cam beening out of time, now i have the problem there is no spark, so i changed the points, cap, rotor buttom & coil and cleaned & dryed out the distributor with a heat gun, checked all the wiring and you can guess again!! still no spark... im wondering if it could be the ballast resistor & condensor that could be shot, god knows its really coming a pain in the arse, can anyone help on this matter??
