hey i just took my motor out took carbs off my L26 im not sure but i think they are flat tops? im from Melbourne south eastern suburbs and i the carbs look pretty old and worn out anyone know where i can take them to get either rebuilt or cleaned etc? and a ruff idea on how much this is going to set me back? thanks : simon

ok im going to take my L26 out im new to the whole datsun think so i thought i would ask people with pre experience Ive had a r32 GTR for 2 years now full rebuilt it re did everything on the car its a monster i wish i could use the RB26dett in it but not going to happen lol i called Z shop guy there told me the L28 is a good swap ? is this better than taking my L26 out and fully rebuilding it? i dun like the whole triple carb thing im more of a turbo guy ? if anyone has a any ideas on what to do let me know i wan keep it as original as i can with some power because i have original seats everything interior wise is mint! and im spraying it the original nugget gold color it is atm so i dont wan lose the value by putting a rb in it or an sr so hit me bak what u think? thanx

hi having a little trouble removing my 260z auto gear box from the motor i have removed all the main bolts and tried separating it and i can see in between it it has separated around 15mm all around i was told there is a compartment from the gear box i must open and undo can anyone help me im seriously so confused i have 4 months to pull this motor out clean it up spray the car and get it registered and i have wasted so much time already. thanks:Simon
