the car is in incredible original condition .. looks like it will be about $8000 all up to get the container there with the car and all our stuff. I just dont know if it is worth it .. but this car is in nice shape for an old car.. very little rail rust 9if any) and I have all the body panels ready to be welded in .. all interior part with new carpet .. re-built 5 spd tranny and I took out the elec fuel system and put in nice re-built su's .. now the car goes very well.

I am moving back to Oz from Canada and am considering bringing my1/2 finished 77 1/2 finished Z project car. It will have left hand drive. 1)Is this a car anyone is interested in buying? 2) Does anyone need some parts brought over from here? I could load up the old car with parts and have them there in about months. Please let me know asap because i am making a decision in the next 2-3 weeks about this .. Cheers all !! Bruce

suv market in US is huge .. the Hummer 2 -3 is a great seller for eg.. Ford expeditions ..etc .. The Truck of mine is not a duelly .. but if it is on gas it is still pretty economical to run. It has the best motor ever invented in it .. the good old chev 350 Thanks for the replys By the way .. It will be good to come home again in April - May .. I guess we will see what happens . i will find it hard to give up the 77 280 as it is unfinished.

it is personal and i have owned it for 12 months or more. that is the criteria. Any guesses on what this rig could be worth?

thanks guys .. what I am wondering is what you .. or anyone .. would pay for a truck like this. I think the 77 280 will stay in Canada because I have the impression it would not be worth more than $10k. I am not necessarily going to sell these cars .. i just want to get an idea if they are worth bringing here. I am looking into the costs and will decide if they are worth it .. it all comes down to their worth here.

it seems my '90 chev 3/4 ton longbox extra cab truck could be worth up to $25k fully converted to RHD in Australia. Anyone have any thoughts on this one? I am trying to decide between the z , the Chev or neither to bring over in April.

That is what I am thinking .. that is should be worth more cause it is a 77 280. What year did the r200 rear end come out in Oz? What are they worth ?

This 280 I have is in almost original condition. There is rust on the doglegs,rockers and I have replaced the front mudguards.. but the rails and floors are perfect and interior is nice. I am slowly cutting out the rust and welding in new. Would this car be worth over $10k in Australia? I am assuming it would cost about $4k to transport down and run all the paperwork etc. If it wasnt worth at least that, it would not be worth it.

Hi guys .. my wife and I are thinking of moving back to Oz and I am thinking of bringing my 90' Chev 3/4 ton truck and my 77 280z. I am intererested to hear from some "real people" about what interest there is in these two vehicles and what value they would have. I am asking about the 77 280 because I know they didnt sell them in Australia. If it was a 240 or 260 I could find the value pretty easy. Any input at all to my question is much appreciated.
