Hey mate are these wheels on as a zed at the moment? if so a couple of pics would be great. Im definatly interested but am in melbourne. but could work something out. just want to see what they look like on a whole z. Pm me if this can be done. Cheers david

most engine reconditioners have the equipment to weld alloy. its ot what the do as there main source of income but im sure if you went to a couple of them im sure you could find someone to do it. theres one off rooks road in mitcham. cant think of the name but im sure its listed.

I have done much research on installing a viscourse z31 r200 longnose into my 73 240z. I have the diff and am at a loss as to what the procedure is to get it in. Im not to concerned with mounting the diff but more with the cv shaft conversion. I have read that 280zx cv shafts will work as long as i have the stub axles as well but if this is the case then why do moderm motorsport sell an adaptor kit to make it fit? Ive also been told that z31 cv shafts will also do the job but only in the 4 bolt type. So i am somewhat stuck on which way to go I have the diff and can get it in with no probs but really need help from someone that has done this convertion in australia as the info from over seas is not always applicable here. I have the input shafts for the diff so i fiqure i just need to know what cvs to get, what stub axles and any coversion kits or other peices i might need. I am desperate to get this done as my car is near completion and this is one of the last sticking points for me. Thanks to anyone that can help.

I have an l28 sitting in my garage that just came out of my 240z has the twin su style carbbies the motor seemed to run fine was parked in a garage for six years and started no problems. Just ran a bit rough at idle it has a snaped stud on the exhaust manifold. also have the five speed to go with it. no longer needed as doing the rb conversion and could use the cash. give me a call if you like 0438 903 768 David
