ended up calling RACV. he only had to put petrol directly in the bowls and that got her going. Spraystart didnt work for me though! ah well, another lesson learnt! cheers, Vlad

sorry guys, urgently need your help. i ran out of petrol just now, ran to the petrol station and got like 15 litres, but the car wouldnt start!!! i kept cranking it over, but still nothing. could i have like an air hole in there or something?! what should i do. i never had a car with carbies, so have no idea what to do. its a twin carb setup with a red cover on the side. all help appreciated. thanks guys! i might try and get a ride in a Z with a subie rack first. see how it feels. you see, my previous car was an Evo 7 and that had an awesome steering. perfect weight at any turn, but only 2.4-2.7 turns lock to lock, so that was a pain in the arse. so im thinking to have my Z behave in a similar fashion, but only as far as weight of the steering is concerned. by the way, the plan is to go RB30/25, but thats not until June/July i think. cheers, Vlad

Yu-hu!!! finally the Z has arrived... and already got to drive.. man, awesome cars. the steering does take some getting used to, but after a while is fine. ill go for a subie rack anyway... want it to be really nice. the car needs a paint job and some minor work, apart from that, she's good. i plan to do some work on in and gave myself 2 years to finish her off!!! will post pics once i give a good wash and a polish maybe. its a 1971 240Z with a twin-carb L28 in it. sound bloody awesome. cheers. Guys, i've got a question about L28. why do people go for L28 swaps? everywhere i can find, it says that L28 has only got 140hp, but l24 is 160. so whats the go here? or am i missing something here? by the way, my new 240Z that i just bought has L28 in it, so im trying to figure out it's hp as well. cheers, Vlad
