Hey everyone,

My names Brian, I am 21 and I am from sydney, Bit of a back story;

I have owned a couple Datsuns in the past, the first being a 120Y sedan with L18 swap, the second being a 200B wagon with T3/T4 Carb Turbo set up. After a while of not owning a Dato I really missed the feeling of being in one, working on one and so on. I saw this 280z on a forum and made an offer that night and picked it up a couple days later.

Im here to learn more about this platform, meet some new friends and figure out where the bloody hell I can buy parts for it haha

Bit about the car,

1979 280zx 2+2 NA 5speed

And a quick picture,

Already spent many hours cleaning it up, taking out all the unnecessary wiring and speakers, re fitting trim, spraying the bonnet vents black, removing hektik autobarn grille mesh etc rims are to arrive next week and so forth.

Thank you for your time in reading this and I look forward to gaining an abundance of knowledge from you all.

Welcome

Looks neat  ;)

Most parts are readily available, just might need to get them from overseas.

If you wouldnt mind linking me to some reputable sites that would be fantastic :)

Yeah it is very tidy, drives extremely well, just needs my TLC and good taste haha
