s30/350z hybrid

Hi everyone,

 

So i've been thinking about possible zed builds, as i'm on the look out for an s30 coupe to restore.

 

I was wondering about getting a crashed 350z and basically taking as many parts as possible. Has this been attempted before?? I know if you shop around through the right importers you can get the 350z's for pretty cheap.

 

I'm thinking like, engine, gearbox, drivetrain, suspension(?), brakes, seats, gauges (but not dash), AC, Wheels. Not sure if i'd be biting off more than i can chew. I'd just buy a 350z and drive that but as you all know, the draw of the s30 style is quite alluring.

Yes has been done before in the US. Have a look on Hybridz forum. I think a member names 240zhoke?? Has a blue one with 350z engine, aswell as another member whos done a full engine and interior swap aswell. Search vq35 240z in google and youtube should give you some results
