cj260znut Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Im currently pulling the interior of my 260z apart & have discovered this sticky/protective type stuff in the spare wheel well. I want to know if there is an easier/quicker way of removing it rather than just picking it away slowly, I want to remove it for rust repair & rust protection. Plus, what is this stuff? I've had a read around & havne't gotten any answers, wondered if anyone of the forums knows about it? Quote
garvice Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Sounds like body deadner. Alot of people say that they use dry ice to get it hard and brittle then it just comes off easy. The stuff I have found on my car normally comes up pretty easy though. I found a few light taps with a hammer also helps to loosen it. Quote
