bullzed Posted September 11, 2011 Posted September 11, 2011 Selling my L28 (fan to flywheel) with a really lumpy cam. N42/F54 head/block combination with extractors and flat-top SU's. Not too sure what's been done to it other than the cam but it certainly does not run like a normal motor. Has tons of pull from 3.5k - 6k and a beautiful sound to match. Runs well with the twin SU's but would really benefit from better fuel delivery. Bought the head and block for $1000 and now looking for $900 including carbs, dizzy and extractors. In the two years I've had it it's had a new water pump, new head, front and valve cover gaskets, bores have been checked and they're fine, compression is ~125psi all round and dished pistons. Only thing it needs now is a sump gasket. Can put it on a pallet for interstate transport.
