boyblunda Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 PM sent. I have yet to own a 240Z but have always, for no special or logical reason, thought the later versions of the 240Z to be a little better sorted and more to my liking. Members love to see pics and are probably a little curious about the history of the car and about your history with the car - okay, I certainly am anyway. Sorry to see you have to part with your prospective chariot. Regards Dave Quote
Sandgroper Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Hi Mate Can you tell me if it is a matching numbers car, could you advise how long you have had it and what is missing, some more photo's would also be great, please also advise where you are based. Cheers Lee Quote
HighImpact Posted May 29, 2011 Author Posted May 29, 2011 The car was rescued from a shed in the south of WA where it had been sitting dormant for a very very long time. I haven't had the car for very long and was unsure which direction I was going but I really wanted a 240Z. Then I recently had to move house and have absolutely no room for a project car and the funds took a hit too. It is said to be a very good original car (from the local WA Z specialist). The current L24 engine is not the original motor. Hard to say exactly what is missing, should be a pretty well complete car, needs restoration & reassembly. Based NOR, up Joondalup way. Will add a few more pics on flickr soon. Cheers Quote
HighImpact Posted June 2, 2011 Author Posted June 2, 2011 The car and GTR motor is sold to a local WA buyer. Quote
