Z Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 Hello, Sorry for the official sounding Subject title but I couldn't describe it any other way! Question out there... Has anyone found that when they put the key in the ignition and turn, that the red ignition light sometimes does not come on? It's weird, it isn't the bulb! The current cure is to wait a while and the ignition light eventually turns on when you turn the key - then you can start the car. I haven't been too worried about it lately as I'm never far from home, but these lurching... problems:) can come and bite you when your far from home knowing my luck! Ebay has a OEM ignition switch (about $40US) that attaches to the back of the ignition barrel, would that cure the problem or has someone found a simple clean / adjustment does the trick? Any experience with this intermittent problem would be handy, cheers. Quote
