VERY fun day. All those who didn't come, really missed out.

Stopped to help Gordo on the way up with a blowout on his trailer, didn't pass him on the way home so assumed he made it ok.

Steve (chev Z) entered his Dodge Charger 440R/T and took my mate and I out for a ride on the skidpan.......... Very fun! Cheers Steve.

I learnt that I need stiffer springs in the rear of my Z, it bogs down like nothing you've ever seen. Hard to steer too when all the weight is at the rear.

Developed some kind of miss towards the end of the day, came and went so decided to pack the car up early. Which meant that I missed out on the VB challenge and it looked like a hoot!

Congrats Rich, show those big dollar bastards how to do it!

Congrats on the win Rich ..........Good to see a Zed take home the silverware

I came in a lowly seventh on the skid pan results (in the MX5) .........I think the morning's hangover had something to do with a lack on concentration ! The back track was also hoot and 11th out of 65+ cars was not to shabby in a little underpowered hair dresser's car

I did however manage an equal second place in the VB challenge along side Cameron in his new Porker (funny that a $230k Porker and a $40k MX5 were pretty well neck n neck on the skid pan) , that Cobra which is built for motokhana stuff was always going to be damn hard to beat...........so the little MX5 redeemed itself

A great day and a whole heap of sideways fun

Great stuff Rich

With your win the VICZCAR  guys have taken out back to back honours .

One with a lowly 260 2+2 BUS  in the previous year.......lol

Hopefully Simon can make it a hat trick next year or perhaps Allan F  will discard the Hair dresser car for his Datto

Another very enjoyable day , WELL DONE to all the Officials and organisers

Richard did especially well considering his 240 was jumping out of first gear

Now I understand my garage parking problems on the skid pan, perhaps a tug was necessary to align the dodge into a more favorable mooring position.............then on the other hand a wiser and more focussed navigator [one that can follow a map / diagram... Simon ] could have been the answer.

We definately need a stronger contigent of Zeds next year, perhaps a cruise incorporating the DECA day.
