spunkeemunkee Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 Hi guys, As an owner of a 76 260z i am wondering if the noise my auto is making is kinda standard! when I take off it gives a slightly high pitched whine that subsides as you pick up speed, maybe it's just age? Also does anyone know how I can get a little more grunt at take off, it seems just a little slow off the mark. I have just had reco 240z carbs, new manifold, extractors and electronic ignition installed and it is now running pretty sweet, I am becoming a passionate zed driver, even my 16 Year Old Son is getting interested! Hope someone can help, I live in the Narre warren south area and would be happy for any of you guys to come buy and take a listen....any ideas? Quote

spunkeemunkee Posted October 25, 2006 Author Posted October 25, 2006 Thanks for the reply, appreciate it. I think my problem is with my auto box it seems to have to warm up before it gives me a faster take off, I don't know if that's what others with an auto find? Quote
