Racing at Carnell (Stanthorpe)

I will be visting and racing at Carnell for the first time in two weeks.

 

Does any one know Gary Ferguson? Apparently he will be racing against me in his 260z.

Oooohhh Fergs hay!

He is a wild and wooly fella, comes down from them thar hills, it's a bit of a ruffie sports sedan thing, bit of a wild paint job, and he pushes it pretty hard, but, like I was mentioning, take a "wrong" line for turn 1 at top of main straight, this will get you the correct exit for turns 2 and 3, with a faster exit from 3 down to the wiggle, oh, and do watch the last turn hard right coming onto the main straight, remeber slow in and fast out.

I reckon you two will be neck and neck.

I have run up against him at Pittsworth, and Gatton, remember me to him, he will recall the red roadster of mine!!

He is a nice guy though, say Hi to him for me, oh and take pics and video and post up, or i will never talk to you again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A good vineyard for the girls to visit would be Lucas Estate, www.lucasestate.com.au, they do live music and great food from 12 to 3 on a Sunday. The wines are bloody good too, I just spent around $400 there last week whilst I was working in the area, and have to go back in a couple of weeks to finish the survey off, so the credit card may take another hit......
