So yeah anyway I made the incorrect assumption that because part of george st is not a clearway that the whole length is not and got hit by a $200 fine (that will teach me not to look at the signs). The guys at work also said that it wasn't a clearway.

 

Anyway thanks again 240zed, you probably saved my car getting towed which would not only have been more expensive but also damaged the car.
