280zx r180 to r200 diff swap.

hi, ive got a 280zx (auto shell) 1982 targa.

ive recently had an rb26dett with a rb25 5 speed converted into it.

because ive started off with the auto, i need to change the r180 over with an r200. i have an r200 centre and shafts out of a 280zx manual sitting in my garage.

 

will the r200 centre bolt up the same as the r180?

will i need to cut back my driveshaft?

 

any info is helpfull

From the information you have provided it should bolt up ok. The only other item you may need to replace is the rear diff mount. I am reasonably sure the one from the R180 will not fit the R200. I do have an old one from an R200 if you want to check it while yo are at my place this weekend.
