They are original 3 piece 240Z FSC71A,  rebuilt, fresh bearings and syncros as needed in one, at $800, and yet to be installed into a car,

 

the second unit was rebuilt with new bearings and syncros as needed, and has been in use in a road car, ( no track use) $700.  Ratios  in both are:  2.906, 1.902, 1.308, 1.0,  0.86

 

and , a bit of an odd one, and no, it isnt a early 260, but it is a FSC71B type,( ie: later model) two piece casing, ratios are  3.061, 1.858, 1.307, 1.0 0.75.  NOW SOLD

 

Also, if interested I am selling, an Option 1 and an Option 2 early FSC71A type boxes, with wicked ratios, suit race or rally. 3 piece case units, as used in USA/ Japan race or rally cars.

The Mid close  (option1) has  2.678, 1.704, 1.262 1.0, 0.85  at $2500

The Ultra close ( option2) has 1.858, 1.288, 1.217, 1.0, 0.85  at $3000

 

And sorry , NO, my late model Option 1/2 dogboxes with 1.1 fifth are NOT for sale!!

 

I can also source late model B and C type close ratio gearsets brand new., as used in my race cars ATM, and very happy with the ratios. Ex Japan.

Yep, Brabham's taken the 3.06 first gear ratio box.

Deposit to be paid, and it'll be delivered to either Mt Panorama or Eastern Creek soon!

 

Now, who is thinking about Close / Mid close / Ultra close???
