Brabham Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Hi guys, my 260Z auto transmission has been loosely bolted to the engine by the PO (I got the car towed to my place). I am about to bolt it up. Is there anything I need to line up on an auto transmission with the flywheel/engine or can I just bolt it together? Cheers. Quote
Scoota G Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 You can bolt that straight up and then turn the torque convertor from where the starter mounts up until the convertor aligns with the flexplate. You'll be able to see from under the car where the access plate is, there are four bolts to insert and tighten. Quote
