WogsRus Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 ok so starting to clean up my N42 head, dam casting marks. This is a VERY rough first pas so please only positive criticism if possible. So i have unshrouded the valves and cleaned up the port a little but ran out of small sanding discs so need to wait till next week Quote
nizm0zed Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Id like to clean my head up, im sick of people pointing and laughing. The doctors tell me its going to cost a LOT of money.... But back on topic, looking good. Dont make your surfaces super smooth, some texture is a good thing, it allows the air to separate from the walls, keeping a higher and smoother velocity through the runners. I dont know how feasible it'll be, but it may be worthwhile shortening and narrowing down the valve guides where the protrude into the runners. Quote
