radiator hose....... 240z with L28

hey

 

i was replacing all the hoses in the 240, heater fuel ect

 

i ordered in the rad hoses for a 240z, the top one is fine, but the bottom one is completly wrong

 

any i dea what i need ...... the one from a 280???

Take the old hose back to the auto shop and they will have a look at the pictures in the Mackey cataloge..

 

Datsun 240z

Top hose    CH1501

Bottom hose CH1195

 

260z 1974-79

Top hose      CH1501

Bottom hose  CH1194  1974-7/75

Bottom hose  CH1196  7/1975-1979

 

280ZX 1979-84

 

Top hose    CH1202

Bottom hose CH1311

yeah i had a look at the pics in the gates cataloge but there fairly hopless

My original 240Z hose fit the L28??

It depends on the bottom radiator hose connection. 240Z's had the lower rad hose the comes out then 90' up; 260Z radiators just come straight out. If someone has replaced a radiator anywhere in the car's life with another model, you have to check.
