mossy Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 I'm selling my SWR caliper adaptor brackets I bought for my 240z, I was going to use them with my r33 gtst calipers but now going with a custom hat setup, the brackets are new. $300 Quote
Vindicare Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 so these cross over to r33 4 pot brake calipers? Does it require a different hub/disk? Quote
mossy Posted April 25, 2009 Author Posted April 25, 2009 Yep they use the r33 caliper with the 240 hub and r33 disc, some machining is required of the disc. Quote
(Locky) Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 im guessing this could be used with a s13/14/15 r32/r33 and z32 caliper as well as they all have the same bolt patterns if you still have them in a bit i may be interested in them Quote
sco_aus Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Depends on the year and model, some did have 5 stud. Quote
(Locky) Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 the pcd is different, but how the actual caliper mounts are the same so i would assume that this adaptor bracket could be used for al those calipers because all the calipers are interchangable between those models, ut the rotars are diferent sizes/pcd's Quote

DatZed Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Yeah the r33 has longer ears on the caliper than the earlier stuff. They also run a wider disc so a z32 caliper won't be much good to you. r32 gtr caliper should go pretty close with a bit of a shave to the pads. So only r33 and s15 calipers will work with the r33 rotor, otherwise you will need the corresponding size rotor for that caliper. I used 3000gt rotors for my setup, heaps lighter than Nissan ones. (Locky) Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 what machining is required to the rotor besides the stud pattern Quote
mossy Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 I think it also had to be machined on the inside rear of the rotor to clear something but can't remember what at this moment, have to check with SWR on that one. Quote
mossy Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 If no one is interetsed I will put them on ebay tomorrow. Quote
