Scando Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 While trying to source rotors and hats for my recent front brake conversion I called DBA to enquire about some of their products. They wouldn't give me the dimensions of the products over the phone but asked me to put all of the information in an e-mail and they would see if they had any products to suit. The next day I sent the same e-mail to Race Brakes Sydney to see if they had any products from other manufacturers that might suit my application. They got back to me the next day saying they could supply me with a rotor with the dimensions I was after and suggestions of hats that were close to what I was after and might do the job. I ended up getting the rotors through Race Brakes Sydney and having a mate make custom hats. Their customer service and advice was excellent and guess what............The rotors they supplied me with are a DBA item..................And DBA never got back to me! Quote
NZeder Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Result - good customer services goes a long way. I have contacted DBA and PBR in the past with little success however given we as individuals, we are small, they are not keen to pass on info or help for these one off/custom sales - yet a brake place the Race Brakes can do just that.
