floorpan and rail replacement

Hi people

Back in 2006 warrenz posted a link from the classicz site on floorpan replacement,

it seems like a good straight forward way to approach the job, so I am planning to have a go shortly,  Any tips / things to watch for that arent mentioned in the post, would be great ta.

What did you end up doing about the misalignment of the rail you mentioned ? did you just build it up with weld?

the missalignment was caused by my own error. i just cut the rail in the  wrong spot so i had to ad some back on to it no biggie
