I havent but I am planning to. I am going to go with a custom chrome plated one - they look great together with polished valve cover. I am sure you can make any expansion tank fit with some mounts customisation, but it will never look as good as a custom ones(which arent that expensive anyway).

I have one, as I really needed to bleed the air out of my system as my external water cooling to head became the highest point on the cooling system.

Here is a pic of it. It was custom made for about $150 if I remember correctly.

Looks more or less the same as the 260C type that I have on my car, even the mounting bracket bolts straight up. Got mine at Pick-a-Part in Melbourne for $2, although that was quite awhile ago now.

Edit: Hmmm bottom radiator assembly in that diagram is not for an L-series engine (note inlet/outlet points). S20 perhaps ??

Jimbo ........... are you asking about expansion tank or overflow tank/bottle ??? as I posted a pic of expansion tank for bleeding air out of the cooling system, but I got a feeling you are talking about overflow tank?

Thanks RP, yes I am talking about an overflow tank/bottle. The reason I ask is because I have a low water indicator fitted into the top radiator tank of my car , & my radiator pumps out a certain amount of water over a period of time & results in setting the buzzer off. So I was thinking that an overflow bottle would catch & return the fuild & keep the fluid level up without setting the buzzer off. thanks for the reply..Jimbo..

Lambs, Blueleaf & Zedrally Thanks ....I will look into the 260c option
