I'm no expert but judging from blank plugs for the fender mirrors, fairlady Z badging the ID tags I would say yes it is a JDM

This car reminds me of a previous member on here; Stavros. His car was a Japanese import 260Z Fairlady 2+2 with factory EFI. There are quite a few little differences body wise and electrical with these. His also had the Fairlady badges.

Yep, she's an import. It's effectively a 260Z 2+2 in body, main difference between them and the fairladys was the engine. This was an L20 turbo when it rolled off the production line, that was swapped when it was landed in Australia. I'm not 100% certain, but seeing as it was factory turbo I believe this means it can be turbocharged again without needing a mod plate.
