stevo_gj Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Got a call from Suncorp this morning letting me know that someone has my credit card details and attempted to withdraw from my account without my permission... so much for sleeping in! The person was using the name APPLEITUNES, Suncorp knew they were bogus already so they cancelled my card. I consider myself lucky not to lose all my cash! Quote

24OZ Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 just make sure you don't give out any passwords over the phone "to verify that they are speaking to the account holder" as this is another scam,always get a number/name and call them back so YOU can verify who you are talking to steve,i would call your financial institution to verify it is all kosher and your card is indeed cancelled Quote
