Jeffrey Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Rota RB 16x7 with a 4mm offset. Tires are 225/50/16's. Tires do rub. They rub on the front valence when turning in reverse. Would be cured with an aftermarket airdam, narrower tires (205/55/16's) or not reversing (who wants to go backwards in life anyway) I didn't think the rear tires rubbed at all until yesterday. They rub very slightly on the fender lips while driving aggressively and hitting a dip in the road. Would be cured by rolling the fender lips slightly. Quote
Toecutter Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Hi Jeffrey, i used to run a set of rims at the front with a pretty wide track due the hub adapters. I also had the issue of rubing when at full lock. You can cut the valance a reweld it to look stock and provide enough room for turning. I'm pretty sure I posted pics on the forums here of my modified ones when I did it. I've since got the front airdam as I went for ZG's but still kept the modded front valance just in case I go for a BRE front lip one day!? Sulio Sulio Quote
