74zzz Posted July 19, 2016 Posted July 19, 2016 Hoo we all have stories like that, mine is similar.....i ended up with a 260 after a few silly decisions overlooking super solid original series 1 240s in the early 2000s. But i knew my mechanical limits and bought something that had the hardwork done and even then have pulled a little thread only to unravel and uncover other issues needing attention. What you will find is most people (u included i assume) buy these things to do it right, in order to do it you either a) need to be very handy on the tools to keep costs down b) loaded and can pay 60+ to get someone else to do it for you or c) have the balls and time to rip into it and be prepared to make mistakes and loose money and a few hairs while doing it d) be willing to wait for the right one to come up pay good money for it and add your own touches Quote
