Radiator Fan

Hi, has anyone changed their 240z plastic fan before? Mine has some cracks and was advised it to be replaced.

I was wondering if a 8 blade plastic fan(280z) would fit the fan clutch and radiator. Are they the same size?

Do you mean a 280Z fan or a 280ZX fan? As I am sure you know, we didn't get the 280Z in Australia, so that might be one reason why no-one has answered you yet.

If you look at the listings and photos for plastic fans on the Zstore site -

- they have a 7 blade 240Z fan for US$102.10.

Their 260Z & 280Z fans are the same and have 8 blades.

They also show an 8 bladed 280ZX fan - but list it as being out of stock.

 

There is a 7 blade 240Z fan for sale by total-z on US eBay for US$128.99 + US35.44 (for international postage) -

Thanks gonggong u the best.. Reason is because the 8 blade fan is much cheaper plus i was told 8 blades gives more air..

I guess it wont fit the original 240z fan clutch in the 280z fan..
