When I bought my parts car, one of the things I recently acquired was a set of 260z flat top carbies.

The carbies in my daily driver are flat tops but they are NOT 260Z flat tops. So I thought I would do a neat little swap, unbolt/bolt on. And then I had a closer look and got confused.

Below is a pic of my daily driver with NON 260Z flat tops. As you can see there isn't a hell of a lot going on, lots of stuff blanked off.

Alright, now below is a pic of the parts car Carbies that I want to transfer to my daily driver (first pic)

My question is: "Is everything there for the transfer?" As far as I know, the doner carbs worked fine so if I can just transfer everything over I should just need a slight balance/tune.

Below is a pic of the set up in my 2 seater for referance, I'm pretty sure they are correct.

Cheers Aegean, kind of like another version of the truth. I think most of the things that may be absent in my case are pollution related.

One of the main things that I am clearly missing on my manifold (top pic) is a servo diaphragm (looks like a flying saucer) Also where the fuel from the rails meets the carbies is different, this may be because the carbies themselves are different.

I'm going to try and track down an official diagram. I have one for the L24 but not the L26 also want to make sure that I'm not looking at an American version.

Cheers Pauly, I do have faith in them, I just don't want to get half way through only to realise that I'm missing a hose or what not.

hey Aegean plz kill rust your bat bay plz lol.

You're right ! I hadn't noticed that before, but then I have only looked at the car once since I bought it in Oct '06 and it's been in storage every since. However, I will be getting it out in a couple of weeks, so will make sure I give it some POR15. Thanks.

What year is your car ? The "flying saucer" is the EGR valve, and was fitted AFTER November 1974.
