Racing green series 1 240z from out near Narangba (i think) Brisbane in 2006

I am wanting to track down this car as now that I am a little wiser I am kicking myself i didn't buy it.......the ignorance of YOUTH!

 

in 2006 I test drove a 1970 907 dark green 240z who was in possession of an old bloke with a passion for VWs (those boxy country buggy things) It was totally original matching numbers car with original gearbox and jellybean mags.

 

I would love to know what happened to it...........At the time i was stupid and didnt appreciate what i was looking at and when he said i could have it for 8 grand I said i could go no higher than 6. as it did need some work and I wasnt as handy as i am now. Im wondering if anyone knows anything about it? I have a feeling he ended up selling/giving it to his son who lived down the gold coast? I think I saw him selling it again on carsales about 5 years agos and was contemplating again whether i could fit another z in teh drive way..........sense got the better of me and i didnt follow up on it.

There was a bloke out that way who owned several Zeds but I've not heard of him for several years now. Good luck with your search but at a rough guess that was then, this is now.
