SMOKEZ Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 hi guys, question is, is it possible to make a bigger fuel tank like a drop tank for a 260Z 2+2?? And if there are anyone manufacturing these fuel tanks could i get there contact details?? i am planning on retrofitting a late model turboed engine and wanted to fit in the largest tank i could find as i dont want to be filling up the tank every 250kms thnx guys in advance! Natez Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 id have to find the actaul number i got it here somewhere... but a place in preston do custom modifications like, for 120ltr droptanks and all tat kinda stuff... the bad news about new tanks that arn't factory will need engineers certificate, as i was told, but it would be heaps better for your setup, as it will also cater the higher pressure fuel needs of a new engine etc many rod type places will do this, but it is expensive, as its not just a tank heaps of baffles inside and al that Quote

With the mob in Preston, have they actually made one for the Zed?? But i will get all mods done to be engineered as i dont think i will sell this Zed again......i already regret selling my first one.....dude wrote it off a year after buying it off me :cry: Quote
