chris240 Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Gents does anyone know the name or paint code of the L24 engine block "blue" ? Its quite similar to ford blue. Ive seen it on the U.S websites sold in small pressure-paks ... If I can get a name or code I can get some mixed locally. chris Quote
260Coupe Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 VHT make a "Chevy Blue" engine block enamel which looks identical to the Nissan Blue used on 70-76 engine blocks............you can pick it up at Super cheap or Autobarn. cheers Alan Quote
dazzed Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 hey gonzo , the closest ive got to in the factory blue is a vht competition ford blue , taking note that 240z blue has faded over time the ford blue is really close, and the colour on the can lid is not a good indication of what is in the can, i have just painted a engine you can check the colour of it to see if you like it, cheers dazzed.
