Okay wondrous oracles of ZED; what are the fundamental differences between 240-260-280 5 speed manual gearboxes.  Is one stronger than another; do parts interchange; is there better ratios in one.  I want to reco one for my Z so I wonder if it's worth tracking down one in particular to restore or sticking with my 260 5 speed.

 

Perhaps a muncie; saginaw; toploader
