G Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I have a short motor (i.e. less head) L24 for sale. This motor was rebuilt by HM engines and never run. It's still sitting in the cradle with the plastic on it. It has the backward sump on it so you'll need to replace the sump and (I think) the pickup. You might need to check on that one. I THINK (but I'm not 100%) that it has dished pistons in it. I haven't taken the head off yet so I can't confirm for sure. That said, I guess you could always speak to MAS and get some pistons off Ash if you really want flattops. I'm looking for around $750, but happy to negotiate.. Pickup in Western Suburbs of Melb, however I do have a pallet if you want to e-go it. Quote
