sco_aus Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 maybe a little big for your application I would have thought that maybe the VL pump/s would be a good upgrade for a Z, but i dunno if it fits or what ever. I dunno what I have but it has no problems with the power im running. Quote
Scando Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I run a holly high volume pump from the tank to the swirl pot and then a bosch pump to the fuel rail. Quote
pauly_adams Posted October 11, 2007 Author Posted October 11, 2007 cheers it was running out of presure at 4500 rpm and then it started working and then boom it craped itself so ill look into those vl pumps today if not in goes the bosch cheers pauly Quote
620Z Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 You might be better with an electric fuel pump. I am not sure what level your motor is at but I know a lot of people opt for an electric pump. I use a Holley Blue electric pump but might be over kill for you, not sure. Quote
Natez Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 i had a electric facet pump in my old 260z, was fine for stockish applications... and was cheap to... if u got a 240z changing to a electric pump all the right wires are already there on the 240 for the electric pump... Quote
