Bigfella:
I was looking at getting some Media for my blasting cabinet.
I was wondering if people a preference. There is talk on here about the use of Fine Garnet. I was wondering about Glass beads.
I am using some rubbish I got from super cheap but doesn't seem to be much chop.

Depends what you plan on using it on. I use the radum medium garnet to clean mill scale and paint etc off mainly mild steels.

The sandblaster down the road from me uses fine garnet (on much more powerful machines). He uses glass beads on stainless steels.

Remember, the abrasive will get smaller and smaller as it gets cycled through the system anyway so you will end up with it being a fine dust until it just won't cut anymore.
