8.8mm is the direct conversion from 11/32", so you have the right type of hose at least. Stock auto vacuum servo hoses use */12" size ranges, due to their thicker walls (when compared to pressure/fuel hose walls) Considering their cost, it's a pity many of the Mackay hoses don't have an inbuilt check valve
