Sorry to bring back an old topic, but does anyone know if 260z gauges are the same size as 240z?

You had me worried for a split second there, ha! Hi Andy! All of my uncertainties were answered so much faster than I'd anticipated. I'm glad I can keep up with your build thread, though it seems like a little more work is required on the car than I'd thought When do you expect you'll have it on the road? Hi all, Does anyone know who bought this 1972 Olive Green (#113) Automatic 240z off eBay last month? Auction: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-240z-Sports-1972-2D-Coupe-classic-collectors-MUST-SELL-/231241817163?pt=AU_Cars&_uhb=1&hash=item35d7161c4b&nma=true&si=6I7L8cos0KqtQVpDF8IuiGWQUk0%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 I was very intent on buying it as my first 'Z', as it seemed to be the ideal one I have been patiently waiting and saving for... Anyway, i'd like to know whether the new owner is a member of 'ZCar'. Does anyone know? I'd really like to keep updated on what work they've planned and/or undertaken - (I'm hoping they'll keep it fairly original looking, it looks stunning as pictured!) And I'm sure most of you have figured, but just to affirm, I'm a new member here, so hello! Oh, and if anyone know's of another 240z similar to the one I was interested in that is reasonably complete, has a straight body and is kinda close to Brisbane, please let me know! I know they're becoming quite scarce, but I remain hopeful that something will eventually come up. Manual would be preferred, and a relatively low price would be nice... well, great actually... But sadly of course, that really isn't possible nowadays, unfortunately - (for me) :'( Anyway, thank you for your time! Have a wonderful day -Luca
