  1. Thanks for your advice Mr Handsandwhich. So are you saying that I'm dreaming if I think this could be a low maintenance car? I'm quite time poor, so don't want to be spending alot of time fixing. However, also don't want to be handing out cash for others to fix things for me either, if it's going to be an ongoing exercise. I'm quite capable to fix things, but as mentioned, time poor and would prefer to not have to spend alot of time on maintenance. Although I have not been looking hard, I've not seen many good 2 seaters come onto the market lately within this price range. Sorry for asking again, but any ballpark estimate for keeping a car like this insured for maybe 2 days/week use? Thanks Spider
  2. Hi Guys, I'm new to this site. Have had a 240Z in my earlier years when I was 21 years old. I think I bought badly and couldn't afford all the maintenance at the time, had rust and other issues. Almost 15 years later, I'm getting the feeling back again and have been looking at the market kind of dreaming about getting one of these again to remind me of my early years. Although, my life is alot different now and would have to ge the wife to agree. Anyhow, is this car a good buy? I'm really not that fussy about anything in particular, just wan't something complete and relatively low maintenance. Not really looking for an all original car. Can someone give me an idea of how much it would cost to keep this car on the road, insurances, etc? I would only imagine driving it 2 or 3 days a week at most, short distances too. Can this car potentially lose value in future, if left as it? Or, would any changes cause it to lose value? Sorry for the questions, I have not researched this much, but have no problem spending 20k instantly if there is very little risk/downside involved. Thanks
