My name is Mick Pepper, I have been following this forum for a very long time as a guest and reading all about your builds.
Id like to thank everyone first up for all the fantastic info the site and what its members have to offer, it has been a real eye opener over the past few months.
I inherited a 240Z when my uncle passed away a few years ago, he had purchased it as a 20 something year old in the early 70's and never parted with it, I wasn't sure what to do with it and it has been sitting in storage ever since.
I then started to investigate the value of them and realised this car in its state was a keeper.
Over the past few months I had a series of incidents that started to steer me in a certain direction, I drove a 850csi BMW which I was involved in an accident with, as a result I was offered the wreck back after it was total lossed by the insurer, and in a moment of sheer inspiration decided to keep it and use its V12 motor trans and as much running gear as possible transplanting it into the 240.
So here I am, full of aspirations and dreams hoping to learn more from all of you wonderful people.
Ive read a number of posts and realise I will be asked at some stage about my user name, as i said my name is Mick Pepper and I was nicked named Sargent Pepper years ago so it kind of stuck.
